:: Comparison between Speedliner and Checker Plate

Speedliner

  1. No screws are present in the bed
  2. Excellent bed drainage
  3. Very tough will not scratch or mark.
  4. Anti-slip, loads will not slip and slide around on the bed and get damaged
  5. Reduces Noise
  6. Unlimited colours available
  7. The vehicle bed will not rust or corrode
  8. Custom Two-tone colours,  Logos, Identification Nos etc. can be incorporated permanently in the bed.
  9. Very easy to clean, just hose or power wash out.
  10. No sharp edges are present

Check Plate Liners

  1. A large number of bed fixing screws are used (56 in this example)
  2. 76 pop rivet fixings in another example (N&J) probably to stop vibration and noise.
  3. Bed drainage is very poor, loads will become submerged and waterlogged.
  4. Plate will dent and mark with use.
  5. Bed/Plate is slippery when wet.
  6. Noisy
  7. Difficult to clean out, dirt and moisture collect and remain under the bed liner permanently.
  8. Rusting occurs on the vehicle bed, steel with aluminium acts as a battery corrosion cell.
  9. Sharp edges are present.
  10. More Expensive.
